Packaging machine operator • Chautauqua County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Chautauqua County, New York. The job is in a textile mill. On the job you will handle: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing You should have: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills 2+ years on the tools preferred.
