PVC window assembler — Stoke-on-Trent

Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Stoke-on-Trent, England. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it. You should have: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
