Concrete placer — Codington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete placer in Codington County, South Dakota. You will work on a road and bridge project. You will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
