Now hiring: motor grader operator (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Newton County, Texas. The job is in an open-cast mine. You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance On the job you will handle: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely Overtime paid at a premium rate.
