Groundskeeper — Portage County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Portage County, Ohio. Requirements: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers You will lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. Full-time with occasional weekends. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
