Safety officer — Gusau

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Gusau, Zamfara State. The job is on a high-rise building project. You will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 3+ years on the tools preferred.
