Immediate opening: turning centre operator (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Clayton County, Iowa. You will work in a tool room. The role involves load and index turning tools in the turret; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
