Rigger — Jefferson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Jefferson County, West Virginia. You will work at a container port. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles The role involves: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
