CNC programmer-operator — Caledonia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Caledonia County, Vermont. You will be based in a toolroom. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to grind and set HSS cutters You will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience.
