Vertical milling machine operator — Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Monroe County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
