We are recruiting: brick mason (New Mexico)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Grant County, New Mexico. The role involves buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 4+ years on the tools preferred.
