Join our team: we are hiring a van driver in Madison County, Virginia. The job is with a transport contractor. Requirements: • Valid Class B / LMV driving licence • Familiarity with basic vehicle checks and maintenance • Physically fit to load and unload goods by hand Day-to-day duties: • Deliver goods to customers and collect signatures or proof of delivery • Drive within speed limits and follow all road safety rules • Report accidents, breakdowns and vehicle damage to the supervisor • Keep the cabin and load area clean and tidy • Park and reverse safely in tight loading bays and narrow lanes • Carry out daily pre-trip checks on tyres, engine oil, coolant, brakes and lights Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
