Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel wireman in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs Your main tasks: • Fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands • Install LED fittings, ceiling fans and exhaust fans Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
