Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Your main tasks: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Six days a week, one day off.
