Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in New Madrid County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Day-to-day duties: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance 3+ years on the tools preferred.
