Nursery worker • Blount County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a nursery worker in Blount County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish On the job you will handle: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines 4+ years on the tools preferred.
