Lorry driver — Avery County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lorry driver in Avery County, North Carolina. You will work at a haulage company. You should have: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements On a typical shift you will carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
