Cake decorator — Montgomery County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cake decorator in Montgomery County, Alabama. You will work in a bread factory. Your main tasks: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
