Powder coating technician — Cedar County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Cedar County, Nebraska. You will work at a fabrication and coating plant. On a typical shift you will inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth 2+ years on the tools preferred.
