Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Pepin County, Wisconsin. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills Part-time with flexible hours.
