Presser — Humboldt County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a presser in Humboldt County, Nevada. You will work at a textile finishing unit. On the job you will handle: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
