Hoist operator wanted in Cleburne County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Cleburne County, Alabama. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Able to read load charts and lifting plans The role involves: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $5,750 per project plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
