Join our team: we are hiring a cold room technician in Hamilton County, Illinois. You will be based at a supermarket cold-chain site. You should have: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts On the job you will handle: • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Service split AC units and VRF systems At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
