Glazier — Jasper County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glazier in Jasper County, Iowa. You should have: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift Day-to-day duties: • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
