Foundry labourer — Graham County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Graham County, Kansas. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Day to day you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
