Gtaw welder — Wagoner County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Wagoner County, Oklahoma. Day-to-day duties: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
