Sewing machine operator • Ini, Akwa Ibom State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Ini, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
