Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Miami County, Kansas. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Day to day you will rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours.
