Pipe TIG welder — Erath County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Erath County, Texas. You will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Rotating shifts.
