Rebar fixer — Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Monroe County, Iowa. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. You will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 2+ years on the tools preferred.
