Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in Pike County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
