We are recruiting: head baker (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Meade County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to work early-morning and night shifts 6+ years on the tools preferred.
