Concrete pump mate • Baker County, Florida

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Baker County, Florida. You will be based in a residential housing project. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE The role involves: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
