Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Shawano County, Wisconsin. The job is at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T You will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control.
