Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. You will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 5+ years on the tools preferred.
