Argon welding operator — Lincoln County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Lincoln County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
