We are recruiting: we are hiring a hand presser in Aransas County, Texas. You will be based in a busy laundry. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Your main tasks: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Six days a week, one day off.
