Tailor machinist — Burke County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Burke County, North Dakota. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $6,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
