Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Sarpy County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage On the job you will handle: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
