Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Johnston County, Oklahoma. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Your main tasks: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
