Furniture maker — Clay County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Clay County, Kentucky. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Own basic hand tools • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage On a typical shift you will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
