Oven operator — Umuahia North

Vacancy available: we are hiring an oven operator in Umuahia North, Abia State. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate Day-to-day duties: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
