We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Brown County, Kansas. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
