Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Dawson County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Day to day you will pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch.
