Oven operator — Canyon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an oven operator in Canyon County, Idaho. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker Full-time with occasional weekends.
