Mechanical press operator — DeSoto County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in DeSoto County, Florida. The job is on the press shop floor. You should have: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On a typical shift you will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; record output and downtime on the production sheet; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting.
