Power float operator — Steuben County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Steuben County, New York. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours On the job you will handle: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
