Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Ogle County, Illinois. You will work in a catering unit. The role involves top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts.
