Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel painter in El Dorado County, California. You should have: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Your main tasks: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
