HGV driver — Kings County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HGV driver in Kings County, New York. The job is at a busy distribution depot. Day to day you will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules. Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours.
